Mesa Kitchen & Great Room

A refined traditional update transforms the home’s dated 90's character into a warm, elevated interior with timeless detailing, updated finishes, and a clean and bright sophisticated palette.

This home underwent a comprehensive interior renovation, transforming its dated layout into a sophisticated and inviting environment designed for both everyday family living and entertaining. At the entry, a portion of the front porch was reclaimed to create a welcoming foyer, establishing a dramatic first impression with a grand piano beneath an oversized crystal chandelier. The fireplace was relocated to become the focal point of the main living space, while strategically positioned windows frame views to the outdoors and bring natural light deep into the room.

The kitchen was completely reimagined to maximize function, storage, and connection to the surrounding living spaces. Removing the existing pantry allowed for a dramatic sliding window wall, opening the kitchen to the outdoors, while space was captured from the adjacent formal room to create an expansive butler’s pantry complete with double ovens and a second refrigerator. Two generously sized islands provide dedicated zones for cooking and entertaining, while durable wood-plank tile flooring from Dal-Tile supports the demands of a large family and frequent gatherings. Dura Supreme white oak cabinetry paired with refined quartz countertops from Arizona Tile creates a timeless, sophisticated foundation that feels both classic and current. The island is a highlight topped with fantasy blue marble.

Throughout the home, custom millwork adds architectural character and a sense of permanence, creating an elegant backdrop for the furnishings, finishes, and family life. The result is a thoughtful balance of traditional detailing and modern functionality—refined, timeless, and designed to be enjoyed for years to come.
